The Aberdour Festival was started in 1984 to involve the whole community in a festival of social, cultural and sporting activities during one summer week of each year. Originally the programme only covered 4 days and has grown in strength and size so that now it lasts for a full 9 days. The Aberdour Festival is now in it's 21th year - a remarkable achievement for a village of its size. The Festival Committee is made up of volunteers who give their time and enthusiasm throughout the year to put on the festival.
