Awliscombe Amblers Go Walk About

 Would you like to increase your level of fitness and whilst doing so, enjoy some of the finest countryside throughout the West Country in good company.

Awliscombe Amblers that number about 25 members have been doing just that since 1994.

The Awliscombe Amblers are an independant group of local people who meet up usually on the last Sunday afternoon of the month at the Parish Hall Car Park between 11:00am and Noon, gather in a few vehicles and drive to a starting point, normally within 20 miles of Awliscombe for a walk in the region of 5-6 miles).

Walks have a strenuous level that varies from easy to moderate but on occasions may include some more challenging terrain. A packed lunch is taken at a view point and we generally return back to the car park  by 5:00pm.

You and your friends are invited to join us, the annual subscription amounts to £7.50p (children and students free) and you will be mailed details of forthcoming walks.

Equally anyone wishing to lead a walk will have the opportunity to share in the organisation and help plan the activities arranged throughout the year.
