Letter dated 20/07/05 to SCC /Inspectora
Dear Sir or Madam, Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981Modification of Definitive Map and StatementSuffolk County Council (Parish of Kessingland) Modification Order 2005. Following receipt from Suffolk County Council of copy letters from four of the residents of Beaconsfield Road and the County Councils reply to those letters, after consultation with the Planning Inspectorate Office in Bristol, the Parish Council would like to make the following observation. Without going back into the evidence already submitted to the Secretary of State and the Planning Inspectorate, the Parish Council would agree with the County Councils view that the four letters from the residents, apart from levelling criticism at the Parish Council over the handling of this issue, they do not bring forward any new evidence for the Planning Inspectorate to consider. The County Council in their letters of reply to those residents, mention is made of new legislation that is now in force that allows the Planning Inspectorate and the Secretary of State not to hold a public enquiry if all the objections are irrelevant. This is certainly the case that the Parish Council would put forward and it appears to be what the County Council are saying as well. That being the case the Parish Council hope that the decision of the original Inspectors report based on the evidence submitted is upheld by the Planning Inspectorate and in so doing negate there having to be a costly public enquiry on this issue Liam Martin Chairman ?
