Streets in Burghfield Village
Burghfield Village includes the lowland area to south of the M4, to the west to the swing bridge on the Kennet and Avon canal at Theale, and to the East to the far boundary of the Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) Burghfield. It includes Sheffield Bottom, Trash Green, Whitehouse Green and the area around Amners Farm.
Directions to Burghfield Village from Reading - To reach Burghfield Village, take the A4/Bath Road south from Reading, and turn left at the traffic lights after Prospect Park. Go over the Railway Bridge, the Canal Bridge, through Burghfield Bridge, over the Motorway, Burghfield Village is about a mile from Motorway bridge (About 2.7 miles from the A4/Bath Road)
Directions are given from the Six Bells Public House. In the Centre of Burghfield Village on the left coming from Reading down the Burghfield Road, 1.7 miles from Burghfield Village. For a map of this area click on on these links for a street map of the area or a large scale map.

Turn right out of the Six Bells, Past the road to the left to Theale, then turn (second) right into Amners Lane on the right, just before the Motorway.(Signpost Spencers Wood and Three Mile Cross) After 500 metres turn right into Amners Farm, past the old Railway Signal at the gate. |
