Declaration of Interest

1.      Apologises. To receive apologises for unavoidable absence.

2.      Minutes. To approve the minutes of the meeting held on 1^st December 2009.

3.      To co-opt a new Councillor to Cranage Parish Council. Letter received by the clerk from Mr J Irlam for the vacancy. To remove vacancy from notice boards.

4.      To receive reports from Footpaths and Trees. To receive a report if the trees have been removed from the River Dane.

5.      Accounts. To note the balance of accounts; Leek United = £50,000, Cheshire Building Society = £21,751.85. Total = £71,830.18. To authorise payments = Mrs J Mason wages and expenses  - £1,755.18, Mr F Walton salary and expenses - £202.58 ( Payment for quality status work not parish council work submitted). Receipts = Lloyds Banking group - £33.65, Interest Cheshire Building Society - £78.33.( Leek United predicted to earn £1,139.73 by April 2010 if not withdrawn beforehand). To appoint a Financial Officer for the Council. To resolve to appoint the internal auditor for the Council 2009/10.

6.      Quality Status. To receive a report from Mr F Walton regarding the reaccreditation of Quality Status and plans looking forward for the Council.

7.      Planning Applications. To consider any new applications. 8.      Playing Fields development at Holmes Chapel. To receive an up to date report from the Chairman regarding the playing field development from the meeting on 3^{rd /  10th} December 2009.To resolve the representation at the next meeting with Holmes Chapel Parish Council.

9.      Cheshire East Matters To receive a current report from Cheshire East representation. To receive report regarding the safety of the camber on Northwich Road.

10.  Middlewich Cross roads. To receive an up to date report on the progress of the repairs at Middlewich crossroads. Clerk to note no evidence of accident form 1^st November 2009

11.  Affordable housing at Cranage. To receive a report on the letter from Mr Jay Ashall regarding the building of affordable housing in Cranage. To receive a report from Mr F Walton regarding the previous charges (£672.15) presented at the last meeting from Mr P Brydon for advice to the Council at the same site regarding building.

12.Clerks Correspondence. Training sessions to be arranged in February. Precept arrangements put forward. Transport Survey from post box to be actioned.

13.   Matters raised by members.  Councillor M Mackenzie to feed back minutes from the LAP meeting 13^th January 2010. Councillor G Yarwood to report on Leese Crossroads, speed limit on New Platt Lane and donation to Lower Peover School due to being 300 years old.
