Dechmont is a village in central West Lothian, Scotland
Dechmont lies 1ΒΌ miles (2 km) west of Uphall and 2 miles (3 km) north of Livingston, immediately to the north of the M8 motorway. Dechmont developed in conjunction with the Bangour Hospitals which are located just to the west The village is well served by its neighbouring towns in terms of amenities yet retains its village atmosphere, an atmosphere that the local community are keen to retain.
