       WELCOME FROM THE CHAIRMAN.

As Chairman of the Drumbrae Community Council I would like to extend to you a very warm welcome to our website.

What is a Community Council? They came into being by an act of Parliament, their purpose is to let local peoples voices be heard on local issues.

Elections are held every three years, The D.C.C. has fourteen directly elected members and seven members representing organisations, Churches, Community Centres, Political Parties etc working within our area, as a council we are non political.

Local councillors and the Police regularly attend our meetings, we meet on the second Monday of each month at 7.30pm in the Rannoch Community Centre, Rannoch Terrace. Our next two meetings are on the 12th November and the 10th December.

Over the years we led the campaign for the Drumbrae Leisure Centre and for the restoration of the number 68 Community Bus as well as the safety measures around the local schools and much much more.

Please join us at our meetings the more people who attend and express their views the better we can represent the local community, We all wish to improve the locality we live in come along and get involved and help us to help you.

You will all be most welcome.
