ABOUT DYFFRYN CLYDACH
DYFFRYN CLYDACH is within the County Borough of Neath Port Talbot and is both historically rich and naturally spectacular.We have a thriving business park,shops, hotels and public houses, easy access to the M4 and three excellent local schools: Neath Abbey Infants and Early years,Mynachlog Nedd Juniors and Dwr y Felin (Lower) Comprehensive.
We have the fantastic Neath Abbey Monastery Ruins as well as the Neath Abbey Ironworks and residents and visitors alike will enjoy our Dyffryn Clydach Guide packed with historical detail. Enthusiastic walkers will be attracted to beautiful woodlands and nearly ten miles of
first class footpaths maintained by our own groundsman.
Dyffryn Clydach Community Council has a busy diary of community events with something to suit everyone. Our community calendar includes our annual summer Family Fun Day and our December Community Carol Evening. As well as regular social evenings with bingo we hold children's discos, fund raising events and a seniors' party.
The talented children of our community can take part in our annual Art and Writing Competitions details of which can be found in our diary section.
The council meets on the first Monday of each month with meetings open to the public.
