EAST TYTHERLEY PARISH COUNCIL ORDINARY MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 16th MAY, 2005. - Apologies: Received from Mr. P. Paddock. Present; Mr. A. Robins, Mrs. S. James, Mr. M. Scoones, Mr. P. Redshaw and Councillor Woodhall.
- Declaration of Interest: None.
- Previous Minutes 21.2.05: The minutes have been circulated, read and signed as a correct record.
- Matters Arising: Possible donation for the Church. Mrs. K. Weston has asked for this to be considered. As the legal case, the Church was involved in has now been resolved, a donation by the Parish Council can now be considered. The donation would be for a specific purpose. All members agreed that a donation of £100 be made payable to the Parochial Church Council for the Boiler Fund.
- Planning Applications: Oaklands Farm - TVS 04503/4 and TVS LB 004473/1 - no objection, now approved. Smith Cottage - glazing - approved. Manor Road - conservatory - no objections - awaiting a response.
- Footpath - Letter Box Corner: The hardcore footpath should be completed by the end of June.
- Flooding - Queenwood: Flooding is still a problem, unsure of a solution. An expert from HCC to come have a look at the problem. Councillor M. Woodhall will look into the matter for us and see what can be done. The Clerk will inform Councillor Woodhall of the occupiers name.
- Footpath No. 12: The re-routing of footpath 12 has now been rejected, but a possible new re-routing of existing path, may be made. Mr. Robins to listen out for reactions to this. Although the airstrip could still pose a problem.
- Street Names: East Tytherley Road, still not resolved. Letterbox Cottage to Kennel Cottage is officially Lockerley Road, East Tytherley, then from Kennel Cottage to Lockerley boundary is East Tytherley Road, Lockerley. Confusion still, as it is not in Lockerley. Bonners Cottages and Monroe?s have a different address to the other inhabitants. The Post Office is at fault. The postal codes also confuse. Mr. Robins to look into the matter.
- Parish Boundary: Lockerley boundary sign is half a mile inside East Tytherley. A compromise with Lockerley PC so that the sign can be moved as close as possible to the correct boundary. HCC say there is not enough room for it on the road edge. The East Tytherley sign will also have to be moved.
- Conservation Area: A letter received from Mrs. C. Unsworth, suggestion that East Tytherley be a conservation area. East Tytherley is not on the list for conservation, which is a complicated process. Only three villages a year are dealt with. East Tytherley could easily be designated, should we go forward? Mr. Redshaw is against, as there are too many regulations already concerning the countryside. Information is available and to pass around to the members. Mr. Robins will try and get more copies. A decision will be made in the future.
- Financial Statement: A copy of the bank balance to date, has been handed out to members.
- AOB: Audit - The audit to be completed for 15th August. Cheques to be signed: HAPTC (annual sub) £75.00. Cornhill Insurance (annual) £259.71 plus donation for church £100.00.
- Next Meeting: The next meeting will be held on Monday 8th August at 6.30pm
