History of Romsey Old Boys:

Romsey Old Boys were established in 2003 after several old Romsey School pupils returned from their respected Universities and wanted to start playing Sunday league football.

S. Atkinson, M. Scoones, M. King, T. Pearce and N. Andrews started the team in the summer of 2003 after agreeing to join Junior Division 4 in the City of Southampton Sunday Football League.

The first season (2003 - 2004) saw Romsey Old Boys start well with a promotion from Junior Division 4 to Junior Division 3 after finishing runners up in the league.

The 2004 - 2005 season was a good season with Romsey Playing good football throughout and gaining some young enthusiastic players with a bit of quality

The 2005 - 2006 season was a difficult season for Romsey Old Boys as we lost several good players over the summer and struggled to replace them.  The main area for concern for Romsey was up front and they struggled to find goals.  Romsey only just manager

The 2006 - 2007 Season was an ok year for Romsey Old Boys and they did not struggle in the league this year.  They even managed to get to the semi final of the cup narrowly missing out to Whitenap on a pitch that resembled a swimming pool.

2003 - 2004 - promoted to Junior 3 Division
2004 - 2005 - promoted to Junior 2 Division
2005 - 2006 - Finished 3rd (7th) from bottom avoiding relegation by 3 points
2006 - 2007 - Finished 5th in the league and made it to the semi final of the cup losing out to Whitenap 2:1.
2007 - 2008 (current season)
