East Tytherley Points of Interest
| There are several Points of Interest within East Tytherley. This page will show you some of the spectacular views that can be seen in East Tytherley and some of the historical buildings around the village. | | The image to the right shows some of the great country side views that can be seen in East Tytherley. This image was taken behind the old vicarage and you can see the church just behind the trees in the distance. |  | |  | The image to the left shows another image of some of the fields and trees within the village | | East Tytherley has several huge Cedar trees you can see one in the image above and a closer image of one can be seen to the left. The Cedar trees are over 150 years old and are an integral part of the village. A couple of the Cedar trees were lost in the hurricanes in 1987 and 1989 and they made a huge crash to the ground. One of which was so big that the only way to dispose of it was to bury it where it fell. |  | | 
| There is a big estate within East Tytherley where the manor house of the village can be found called Lockerley Hall Estate. The image to the left shows the old gate houses to this manor. | | The church is an integral part to any village and St. Peter's Church in East Tytherley (see right) is no different and dates back to the 1200s. The porch and bell-tower were added to the church in 1863. |  | | 
| In front of the church there is an almighty great tree that in the summer looks absolutely spectacular. This tree can be seen to the left. Below you can see a view taken from the church.  | | Another integral part of any village is the local pub. East Tytherley has a very nice quiet typical English countryside pub called the Star Inn (see right). |  | | 
| Next to the star is the cricket pitch and pavilion. This can be seen to the left. East Tytherley Cricket Club has been around for several years now and always does well every season. | | East Tytherley has its own village hall (see right) but due to its size it is not used a great deal. The Parish Council meets here every 3 months and each year the Harvest Supper also takes place here. There used to be a phone box next to the village hall but unfortunately it was removed early 2005. |  | | | | |
