Graffham Empire Movies shows films monthly in the Empire Hall throughout the winter months.

GEM was set up both to bring films to Graffham and to raise funds for the Empire Hall.   All profits from films are donated to the Empire Hall Appeal Fund.

We are currently supported by a “grassroots grant” from the Sussex Community Foundation and receive commercial sponsorship by Hoyle Garage, Rosewarnes and Wine Etcetera.

Films at the Empire Hall are normally shown in DVD format by Movies On The Move, a touring cinema company.  Film showings provide a social occasion for the village, with an interval, bar and refreshments.

Graffham Empire Movies is run by a committee.   Meetings are open to the public so anyone in the village may come along and help chose future film titles.
