 Could you please be aware of a Dark Blue Estate Part registration T589. It has been seen in suspicous circumstances.
If you could please keep and eye for it and get the rest of the registration.

Just a quick update that there has been a vehicle seen in suspicious circumstances in the area over the last few days. It was last reported as being seen in the Lodsworth area two days ago. The vehicle is a white Vauxhall Brava Pick-up truck, registration P389 MNP.

Please report all sightings of this vehicle on 0845 60 70 999.

1. VIOLENT CRIME        ·              
               
2. DOMESTIC BURGLARY    ·       Easebourne, Easbourne Street - break to two properties. Laptop, ring and credit cards stolen.  
               
3. CRIMINAL DAMAGE      ·       Rogate, North St - window of vacant property broken. Youth responsible for damaged identified. 
               
4. OTHER        ·       Kirdford - break to five vehicles at various locations (Butts Meadow, Townfield, New Barn)  on 10/12/08. Various items stolen.

·       Petworth, Pound Close - registration plate stolen from one vehicle and wing mirror damaged on an other.
·       Midhurst; Wedglen Industrial Estate. Break to garage unit. Machinery stolen.
·       Fernhurst, Lickfold Rd - pair of 8' x 6' black iron gates stolen from rural property.
·       Stedham, School Lane - attempt made to steal vehicle. Lock drilled and top door damaged. Offenders disturbed and made off.

       
               
5. SUSPICIOUS SIGHTINGS ·       Woolbeeding, Eastshaw Lane. - white transit pick - no index. Occupants when challenged stated looking for fencing posts. Thought to be looking for diesel and viewed with suspicion

·       Midhurst, North St - blue Vauxhall Corsa index X787SCX, parked out side of Tescos. Two males, possibly wearing balaclavas in vehicle. Moved off as staff approached.

·       Rogate, School Lane - male youth reporting being assaulted and asked to hand over recently paid wages.

3. CRIMINAL DAMAGE      ·       Midhurst, Grange Rd - Damage to vehicle.       
               
4. OTHER        ·       Heyshott, Leggs Lane - break to workshop, diesel stolen
·       Elsted - break to garage, baby equipment stolen
·       Hammer, Moor Rd - break to number of vehicles
·       Linchmere, Hammer Hill - break to number of vehicles
·       Northchapel, Hillgrove - break to garage, sit on mower and wine stolen
·       Linchmere, Linchmere Common - break to vehicle, handbag hidden under seat stolen

5. SUSPICIOUS SIGHTINGS ·       Wisborough Green - Elderly victim had male at door stating he was a police officer. Allowed into house were offender stole jewellery.

·       Hammer Hill, Linchmere - White transit van X601JOT. One male driver. Vehicle being driven around local estate very slowly, cruising around and looking at houses, driveways

This is a police message is in in response to a recent report from a member of the public who received a telephone call from an advertising company claiming that they were working on behalf of Sussex Police. The caller stated that they were selling advertising in a local community magazine. The informant dealt with the call sensibly, but there is a danger that people could take the mention of Sussex Police as an endorsement of the company that is contacting them. Sussex Police do not have connections with any companies that will conduct telephone cold calls selling goods or services. Anybody receiving such a call is encouraged to terminate it and report the incident either via 0845 60 70 999 or through contact with their local Neigbourhood officer who they can identify on the sussex police website www.sussex.police.uk.

·       Northchapel, Pipers Lane - theft of diesel fuel
·       Northchapel, Northchapel, Cylinder Lane -  Landrover Defender stolen
