The next Meeting of Great Sankey Parish Council Finance Committee will be at 7.30pm on Tuesday 3rd June 2008 at Whittle Hall Community Centre.

1 To receive and approve any apologies for unavoidable absence
2 To approve the Minutes of Previous Meeting 2/5/2008.
3 To be informed of progress on matters arising from the previous meeting and take any action required:
3.1 Update on Playschemes
4 To scrutinise Audit Return and Intermediate Audit return for 2007/08, amend if needed, and make a recommendation about acceptance to full Council
5 To be informed of problems concerning the drains at the Tim Parry Community Centre and advise the Clerk on the action to be taken.
6 To be informed of the outcome of the letter to United Utilities concerning the large increase in surface water drainage costs, and to consider if any other action could be taken on this issue to reduce the cost to the Parish Council
7 Budget 2007/2008 - to scrutinise documentation, and when satisfied as to correctness to sign off financial report and bank reconciliation for April.
8 To examine petty cash records and balance, to sign off if correct and authorise cheque to restore balance to the set limit
9 To consider recommendations on financial expenditure arising since last meeting, plus estimates received, and authorise where appropriate
10 To consider any requests for financial assistance received. To decide if any donations are to be made or if any other requests should be recommended to the Parish Council
11 To consider a request from a user group to pave an area of the garden at the Tim Parry Community Centre for their use.
12 To review the concessional rate of rent being to charged to a user at Whittle Hall and decide if it should continue or revert
13 Pursuant to section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to meetings) Act 1960 it is proposed that, because of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted, the public and Press leave the meeting during consideration of the following agenda items
14 To authorise payment of wages, tax and ERNIC for May - paper to be tabled at meeting
