Sunday 3rd August, 2.30pm

A Beginners Guide to Dragons & Damsels

An informed stroll around some of Cannock Chase's pools to see these

beautiful insects. Also, a chance for children to design and make a

dragonfly.

Meet at Sister Dora Car Park, Milford Common.

Thursday 7th August, 7.15pm

The Bats of Cannock Chase

A talk and walk on our local night flying mammals led by an expert from

South East Staffordshire Bat Group. NOTE - if the weather is bad this

event will be cancelled.

at Cannock Chase Visitor Centre, Marquis Drive, Hednesford.

Seven Springs and Haywood Warren

Join the ranger and learn about the history & wildlife of this wooded

area of the Chase.

Meet at Seven Springs Car Park.

Sunday 17th August, 2.00pm

The Natural History of Norton Bog

A wander around this exciting, developing site with it's rich mix of

habitats.

Meet at the car park off Burntwood Road, Norton Canes.

Sunday 31st August, 2.00pm

Pond Dipping - for the kids!!!

Meet the weird and wonderful creatures that live in the ponds at Norton

Bog. £2.00 per child - adults free!

at the Chasewater Heaths Station Car Car Park, Chasewater, Norton Canes.
