HEATH HAYES LADIES FC

2007/08 has been a great year for Heath Hayes Ladies FC. They won the League Cup and were runners up in the league.

Managed by Carol Lewis, this team is well supported locally and is a great example of what a positive influence can have.

On 25th July, Councillor Mick Doody was pleased to present the awards at the Presentation Evening at Heath Hayes Constitutional Club.

Heath Hayes and Wimblebury Council assisted the club with a grant of £500 in January and the Council is exceptionally pleased at the progress and success of the club

Unfortunately, the Club has been the victim of its own success and many of the girls have been scouted by some bigger clubs in more established leagues and will not be operating for the 2008/09 season. It is hoped that the club may start again at some point.
