Tim, a retired university teacher, has lived in Markbeech since 1966 and became a Councillor representing the Hever Ward of Hever Parish in May, 1999, although his wife, Mary, was the Parish Council's Clerk for ten years in the 1970s. He is charged with overseeing the Parochial Charities and is Chairman of the two Planning Sub-committees. He is also a member of the Management Committee of Markbeech Village Hall and is the author of a history of Markbeech.
