John became a Councillor in July, 2000 and represents the Hever Ward. He is charged with the responsibility of liaising with the Kent Highways Authority regarding the state of the roads within the boundaries of Hever Ward and with the Public Rights of Way Officer for the Sevenoaks area regarding the state of the public footpaths, stiles etc that are a feature of the Hever Ward. John has previously sat as a member of the Hever Planning Sub-committee and represented the Council in the Kent Association of Parish Councils.
