Planning application 07/03847/FUL, Miniscoff, 3a Midlands Industrial Estate - Cllr. Jimmy Gooding reported that it is not possible to make a decision on this application until the decibel units coming from the existing unit is known; the proposed unit will emit 36 decibels, but a comparison needs to be made to ascertain whether the reduction is noise will be sufficient. The current noise level is unacceptable. It was agreed that Cllr. Gooding should follow this up and the Planning Committee make a decision as soon as possible. Mr. Angus Oliphant, Miniscoff, to be informed.

Mr. Ian Kear, Land Drainage Officer, WWDC has informed the Council that a Land Drainage Notice was served on Mr. Keith Tucker on 7th May to repair a culverted watercourse which crosses his land adjacent to the access land to Hunts Hall Farm. If the work is not completed 7th June, WWDC can carry out the work and recharge the costs.

Holt R Us has requested permission to erect a youth shelter in the old children's play area. More information to be requested before consideration is given to this matter.
