Hutton in Somerset The village of Hutton, in the county of Somerset, is four miles from Weston-super-Mare and the Bristol Channel. It is bordered to the north by the Hutton moors and to the south by pastures and woodland which are part of the Western seaboard of the Mendip hills. These woods and fields are part of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (the AONB). The settlement was recorded in the Doomsday Book of 1086, and the earliest known buildings are the 13th century church and the adjacent manor house of Hutton Court, the first written reference to which was in the early 14th century. local weather
