A G E N D A The purpose of the meeting is for Councillors to discuss Parish business and whilst the attendance of residents is welcomed, they are not allowed to join in the discussions of the Councillors. 1 To elect a Chairman of the Parish Council for 2008/09 a) Chairman's Acceptance of Office to be completed 2 a) To receive any apologies for absence. b) To receive any declarations of interest regarding the agenda. 3. To elect a Vice Chairman of the Parish Council for 2008/09 4. To confirm the Register of Interests. 5 To confirm the Terms of Reference. 6 To confirm the Code of Conduct 7. To confirm Standing Orders 8 To elect a Planning Chairman for 2008/09 9 To elect the following committees; Amenities Footpaths 10 To elect representatives for the following working groups; Emergency Strategy Crime and Disorder Very Sheltered Housing/Library/Community Project. Community Activities Group (CAG) Finance Employment Section 106 group 10a To elect representatives for; Allotments KSSC Salc Help in Need Trust 11. To approve and sign the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Wednesday 9th April 2008.
12. Meeting adjourned for public participation
During each meeting the council will adjourn for a period of 10 minutes for public questions. During this time, residents can put questions to the Chairman regarding local concerns. Where possible, the Chairman will respond but the matter may have to be deferred and placed on a later month's agenda for discussion. a) To receive a report from Waveney District Cllrs b) To receive a report from the police representative c) To receive a report from Suffolk County Council d) To receive comments from any members of the public Meeting closed for public contribution 13 Chairman's Report including; a) Councillor co-option 14 Clerk's Report and correspondence 15 Planning applications received prior to the meeting including; 16.
