Letham Police

Letham Police Office The building which until recently was the combined Police house and office has undergone extensive alterations. Although in recent years there has been a police officer resident in the house, the officer in question had numerous other responsibilities besides Letham so that the police presence was not that of high visibility.The renovated building  no longer houses a resident police officer but it has become an extended centre for co-ordinated policing. There are some administration personnel based there as well as some of the landward based officers and the peripatetic wardens, using the office as a base.
