There are ten seats on the Parish Council.
The Parish Council owns and looks after:-
- Village Hall
- Village Hall Play Area - for ages up to 12 years
- Burnside Play Area - for ages up to 14 years
- Car Park at the Village Hall
- Car Park at The Common shopping parade
- Car Park at Bramble Way
- Alder Lane Playing Fields
There is also a kickabout area for children at Mill Leat.
The Parish Council meets on the first Friday of the month at 07.30 pm at Parbold Village Hall
The Parish Council Notice Board situated on the land adjacent to 17 The Common (currently McColls) details future meetings.
