From E-Cops: "Operation Metric" (24 June 2010) Hello all, Last week saw myself and PC Gilbey focusing on our recurring problem of speeding motorists throughout Cottenham, Oakington and Rampton. Through our efforts 14 motorists had action taken against them, including tickets for speeding, verbal warnings and even a summons to court. Later on the speed camera van took root on Rampton Road and gave out a phenomenal 39 tickets to speeding motorists. This continues to highlight the major problems our village's roads have with speed as well as the major action being taken against offending motorists by Cambridgeshire Constabulary. Kind regards, Shaun White PCSO 7352
