Woburn Area Decorative and Fine Arts Society Are you interested in Antiques and Fine Arts? Why not join your local Branch of NADFAS Illustrated lectures are held at the Woburn Village Hall, Crawley Road, usually on the last Tuesday of the month, commencing promptly at 7.45. Refreshments are available after the lecture. Lectures are given by experts of international standing. The forthcoming programme is as follows: 2006 31st January Horatio Nelson - Lives and Loves 28th February From China to Worcester - A History of Porcelain 28th March "A Window to the Sea", Matisse in the Cote D'Azur 25th April Furniture: It's Care and Restoration 26th April Furniture Workshop 30th May "The Rattle Snake and the Elephant" 27th June Suleyman the Magnificent and Ottoman Art This is an example of the wide and rich range of lectures. In addition to the lectures, visits are organised to properties and exhibitions. If you are interested and would like to join the Society, there are openings for new membership at present.
