Please attend the Parish Council Meeting of Walton Parish Council to be held at: -
St. John?s Community Church Hall, Old Chester Road, Walton on Thursday the 1st December 2005 at 7.15pm., following the switching on of the Village Christmas tree lights at 7.00pm.
Parish Councillors are reminded of their responsibility to declare any interest in items for discussion on the Agenda and withdraw from the meeting, if appropriate.
Agenda
1 To receive apologies for absence notified to the Chairman and/or Clerk
2 To receive a proposal for adjournment
· to introduce Mr. Steve Biltawi of the Warrington Youth for Christ Charity who will give a short review of the work undertaken by the charity with teenagers and younger people.
· to introduce Inspector Stuart Woodcock of Cheshire Police who will update the Parish Council and residents on policing changes in South Warrington and the progress of the Community Support Officer scheme, introduced in 2004.
· To introduce a representative of St John?s Church who will outline the impact of Health & Safety requirements in relation to unstable headstones in the Churchyard and related financial implications.
· to allow members of the Parish to address the Parish Council.
Please note; Standing Orders for members of the Parish addressing the meeting will apply. The Chairman will invite comments, these will be restricted to 3 minutes per speaker.
3 To confirm and approve the Minutes from the Parish Council Meeting held on the 3rd November 2005.
4 To receive reports on Matters Arising from previous meetings, not covered elsewhere on the Agenda.
· To receive an update from Councillor Chadwick appertaining to securing the future and use of the land owned by the Parish Council.
· To review the repairs to the ford on Park Lane.
· To review the incidence of travellers at Walton Hall Gardens
5 To receive the report from Borough Councillor Walker on WBC matters.
6 To receive and accept the report from the Clerk on the Parish Accounts and to formally approve the accounts for payment as listed.
· To further review the financial information prepared by the Clerk and discuss items to be included in the final draft budget to be presented for further discussion and approval at the meeting on the 5th January 2006.
· To discuss and if considered appropriate, to receive a proposal to make a grant to St. John?s Parish Church towards the upkeep of the graveyard.
7 To receive and accept the report from the Planning Committee on delegated matters relating to planning issues.
