Cllr Hopkins has been Chairman of the Council since May 2003 and in addition to his duties as Chhairman he represents the Council on the East Shropshire Regeneration Partnership Committee, Albrighton and District Allotments Association, Albrighton and District Footpaths Group and Loak Road Sports Complex. He also serves on the Council's Leisure Committee, Old School Management Committee and task groups whci have been established to consider local drainage problems, youth issues and arrangements for the forthcoming celebration of the grant of Apporbation to RAF Cossford
