27/09 Public Open Forum; There were 4 members of the public present at the meeting.
· The clerk had received a copy of a letter sent by the resident of Longmeadow, Hillbury Road, to EDDC Planning Dep't objecting to planning application 3/09/0154/FUL. (This letter had been received after the agenda had been sent out but was available at the meeting for Members to read)
Mrs Hockin advised that most of what she wanted to say was in the letter and that she wished to add that she thought the bund was superfluous to the keeping of cattle and questioned why electrical fencing was not used instead. In addition, she wanted to clarify that contrary to what was said in the design statement, no legal restraint had ever been issued to her.
· Another resident, whose property adjoins the SE boundary advised that he did not understand why a bund was used for restraining cattle, why the ground within it had been levelled and why was it in only part of the field.
These comments were noted and the Chairman advised residents that they could also make their representations at EDDC Planning meetings and advised on the role of the Parish Council Planning Committee.

29/09 Minutes of the previous meeting were agreed and signed by Cllr Hibberd. Matters arising from the minutes;
Reference minute 18/09 of the planning meeting on 12/03/09 the following decision was made on the application listed;
3/09/0139/COU | The Former Chapel, Cripplestyle, Alderholt Remove condition 2 of planning permission 3/08/1310/COU Objection; APC is in agreement that the wording of condition 2 be amended from sculptor's studio/gallery to artist's studio/gallery but would not want condition 2 to be completely removed as APC would not want it to be used as an independent exhibition hall or retail outlet. Condition 2 currently protects the amenities of adjacent dwellings and prevents the establishment of a use which would attract visitors in an unsustainable location. Comments need only be reported to Committee if the officers recommendation is at variance to the above |
