Redhayes Heritage

The Redhayes site at the M5 Junction 29 with the A30 Trunk Road just east of Exeter is due to be developed as a Science Park. Only the south-west quadrant of the currently termed Redhayes site formed the grounds and parkland of the now demolished late Victorian residence Redhayes.

The grounds and parkland of Redhayes, a large house demolished during the 1990's, separates the M5, the Sowton Industrial Estate and the City of Exeter to the west from major planned developments in East Devon: the Skypark Business Park, the rail/road freight interchange facility and the new town of Cranbrook to the east as well as the Science Park.

Redhayes Heritage has been formed to record information about Redhayes as well as the gardens and parkland and people who lived or worked there.
