JM 10 Village Matters (a) Thorough-ways The Council to be informed of Oxfordshire Highways' response to the BPC 's requests regarding the roadways through The Baldons. {8207 8209 8210 8213} DT Also to discuss action required regarding blocked drains caused apparently by straw falling from lorries. BW (8213 attached) (b) Tinny Lane Cllr Barbara Wright to report on work accomplished in Tinny Lane and the resulting blocked ditch outside Fairoaks. BW (c) School Parking The Council to consider to action be taken following further discussion with the School concerning staff parking. Also to approve the undertaking of work necessary to ease the movement of vehicles on to the grass verge and to agree expenses involved subject to an estimate later to be received. (d) Area Review of Subsidized Bus Services, Oxford and Abingdon Area 2009 {8206} (attached) The Council to discuss whether to instigate a survey of transport needs and / or to make any reply to Oxfordshire Rural Community Council (ORCC). CL (e) Chestnut Trees - Leaf Miner The Council to discuss what action it should take with regard to the problem of leaf miner attacking the horse chestnut trees. BW (f) The Green - Grass Cutting Cllr Barbarba Wright to explain the adjustment in the David Greenaway's estimate for grass cutting on The Green. BW (g) Baldons Event Committee (BEC) The Council to receive from Cllr Chris Lake also Chairman, BEC its current report. CL (h) Baldon Feast The Council to agree to support Baldon Feast 2010, Saturday 14th August with a contingency fund of £750 which could be used for the hire of a band should no sponsor come forward. 11 Nuneham Courtenay Parish Council The Council to consider ways to improve communication with Nuneham Courtenay Parish Council. 12 Open Forum An opportunity for Member's of public to raise questions and issues of concern. 13 Any Other Business
