Bob Parsons

Cicely, Terry, Carol and family are deeply saddened by the loss of Bob after a long illness; he would never quite give up. A memorable service was held in the Banbury crematorium, conducted by Rev.Dr.Marcus Braybrooke and Peter Barclay-Watt, supported by Iris, Paul, Betty, Barbara and June, with many friends and family. Bob is now resting in the garden of All Saints Church, Lime Walk, Headington, where he was a choir boy and where he was married. The family would like to thank friends for the wonderful cards, thoughtful messages and prayers in their time of grief. Over £300 was collected in aid of Sobell House.

Ralph Charles Holman

Irene, Heather and Christine and their families would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours and also all who attended his funeral, for the many messages of condolence and sympathy received on the sad loss of Ralph. Our special thanks go to Laura and Linda, without whose help on the day of the funeral, we could never have managed, and also to the kind people who baked cakes for us and Heather,Ann and Janet who laid out tables and served welcome cups of tea and coffee back at the Village Hall. We thank all who generously donated money to the two charities chosen and we are able to announce that £508 will be equally divided between Cancer Research UK and Mind. And last but by no means least, our thanks go to Rev. Ros for her kindness and beautifully conducted service.
