PARISH PLAN UPDATE

The Parish Plan Steering Committee would once again like to thank all the residents

of the Baldons for completing and returning their questionnaires: the response rate

was very high.

We thought you'd like to know some of the initial results we have had:

• Over two thirds of those who responded volunteered to help with at least one

village activity or project, which is fantastic.

• 88% of those who responded support the "Access Only" designation of our

road.

• Over 90% of those who responded support the retention of the Green Belt and

oppose development within it.

• The Green is highly valued for a wide variety of reasons, including as a place

for people to walk and play, and for its meadow character.

The final figures will be presented at an open event in November. The Committee is

working on this and how to translate the results into an Action Plan.
