MINUTES of a PLANNING & TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE Meeting held on THURSDAY 8th May 2008 at 7.00pm in The Guildhall, Butchers Row, Barnstaple

PRESENT:         Councillor B Macbeth (Chairman)

Councillors: S P Upcott, F E Edwards, Mrs V Elkins, F B Vernon, S P Harvey, Mrs S Haywood, J Phillips, Miss C Upcott, J Green and J Barton-Constable

PT299 APOLOGIES

As recorded on the attendance sheet apologies were received from Councillor R Knight.

PT300 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

        The following declarations of interest had been entered on the reverse of the attendance sheet: -

Cllr Mrs Haywood Personal Interest as a District Councillor she stated that she would make her decision based on the facts presented at today's meeting.  However, in the event of any of these matters being dealt with at a later date by a District Council Committee of which she is a member, she will take her decision based on the facts before her at that time which may alter her original decision.

Cllr Mrs Barton-Constable Item No.13 Personal and Prejudicial as she is a resident and the Chair of the residents association.

The Committee as a whole declared a Personal and Prejudicial Interest in Item No. 4.d) 46451 as the Town Council owns the neighbouring allotments.

PT301 MINUTES

RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting held on the 10th April 2008 subject to the amendment that Councillor Upcott and Miss Upcott left the meeting at 8.25pm and did not return be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.
