Youth Council
The Barnstaple Youth Council Barnstaple Youth Council aims to be the voice of young people; this is your chance to be heard! The Youth Council was re-launched in June 2007. Since then it has held an "Ideas Into Action Day" on behalf of the Barnstaple Alliance for young people of the town aged between 13 and 19. The Youth Council is holding a music festival, and will be carrying out many projects such as looking into the possibility of somewhere for trials bikes and an under 18's club. The Youth Council is building strong links with organisations within the town including the Barnstaple Alliance and the Police, and is consulted on a wide range of issues. This is an exciting opportunity for young people to voice their opinions and be involved with projects that matter to you. If you are interested in being involved with the future of your town and are aged between 11 and 19 and live and/or attend a school or college in Barnstaple then join the Barnstaple Youth Council!
