Welcome to the website for the historic and attractive village of Broadway in Somerset. The earliest record of Broadway is in the Domesday Book (1086) where reference is made to the small settlement of Bradewei. We are situated in the far south of the county near to the town of Ilminster. The parish adjoins the Blackdown Hills, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site aims to provide a channel of communication between the parish council and local residents and more generally to serve as a source of information concerning events, activities and services within the village.
