Despite the parking facility being widened opposite the village pub it still seems to be a problem with visitors parking wherever the mood takes them ! parking on the corner leading up to Trinity rise is a particular problem as traffic driving down from newbury hill seems oblivious to the fact that some of us are trying to navigate past parked cars and drive straight ahead ! not only is this in itself hazardous but some of the speeds being driven are rediculous, I really dont want to witness or to be involved in an RTA , is there nothing that can be done about this, ie warning lights as are used on the approach to Charlton village or a notice prohibiting parking so close to the entrance to the road just past the Church, its also a great worry that so many cars are parked outside of the pub, I really do hope that the drink and drive laws are being observed , I feel so strongly about all of these issues as I have experienced first hand the devestaing affects of losing a son to a dangerous driver....
