Living on one of the single-track lanes out of the area I'm worried about the traffic impact and the usual percentage of people who don't respect other road users, especially pedestrians that will no doubt make up some of the new intake. Not just because I live here, but there really needs to be some major overhaul of the road system if we're to see less impact on the road systems if these developments were to take place.
