The Local Channel Chat

There has been a reported case of foot and mouth on a farm in West Tytherley. 

Fingers crossed that this is a false alarm because I drive through West Tytherley to go to work and have a foot path going through the field next to my house and have seen no exclusion zones in place at all.

Thankfully the tests have come back negative and the restrictions have been lifted.

How would this have affected the area though?  I know several people within East and West Tytherley who have animals and they were very worried.
