I don't know what the feelings are of fellow residents in Alderholt, I feel that we need some form of traffic calming in our village.There have been a number of times where I've been forced to run across Station Rd due the cars, vans and sometimes even Lorries hurtle around the bend adjacent Charring Cross stores. I can't help but think if it were one of our Senior Citizens, Children or young mums with buggies in this position it would be fatal.The other area of concern is the junction of Earlswood and Park Lane. I constantly see cars and vans turning left off Earlswood into Park Lane travelling to fast. As you all know if you negotiate this junction you cannot see what is around the corner due to the garden fence there. Now I'm not saying remove the fence, I think the drivers should be thinking ahead i.e. "what if?" Everyone knows there is a school on this road and should be thinking of what damage they could do. No wonder people drive their children to school, it's not safe to walk!!!!
I've already emailed our Councillor about this over a year ago!!! and received no reply.
Something needs to be done before peoples lives are wrecked.
