Aims of the Programme

On this website you will find a presentation set that describes the draft improvement programme for the Forest Shopping Centre. The aim is to ensure that the Forest Centre benefit the whole community.

Improving the environment


Hampshire County Council, East Hampshire District Council and White Hill Town Council are working with the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) To ensure carry out improvements to your area so that it will thrive economically ands socially

Improving the Forest Centre


The town action plan, developed and approved between 2002 and 2005 is in place to improve the local economy, quality of life and business sustainability for Whitehill and Bordon.

Proposed Scheme


The proposed scheme includes but is not limited to 13 improvement steps. These can be viewed in the web pages but here are a few to wet your appetite

The Events Space

The events space will become a focal point for the Forest Centre, for stalls, street entertainers and charity events.

Access and parking


Improved access for pedestrians while parking for cars remains at its present levels are planned along with better access for deliveries.
