Great Addington is a small community sitting above the flood plain of the River Nene in East Northamptonshire. The village has approximately 100 houses and 300 inhabitants. The majority of these houses are clustered around All Saints Parish Church and the Memorial Hall. The village has strong ties with both Little Addington and Woodford. The Playing Field situated between the Addingtons is administered by a Charity that has both Parish Councils as Trustees. Great Addington CE Primary School draws its 100 pupils from the village and surrounding area.
