Recycling baskets are emptied every other Thursday, often early in the morning so make sure you put them out the night before.

AVDC provide recycling baskets for the following items:

Can and plastics, including bottles, yoghurt pots, margarine tubs, punnets and plastic egg boxes, and also aluminium aerosol cans.  Please do not include plastic bags (re-use them), cling film, cellophane and expanded polystyrene trays.

Paper - newspapers, magazines, directories (not Yellow Pages), writing paper, junk mail and catalogues, white envelopes - even those with windows, but not brown ones.  No dyed paper or gift wrapping paper.
