Trouble with antisocial behaviour?
Are you having problems with antisocial behaviour? Half-term is here, the weather is picking up......and so are the incidents of anti-social behaviour. Advice from our PCSO's is to notify them as soon as there is a problem. Obviously people have different perceptions about what constitutes a nuisance, but if it bothers you then let them know. ALL incidents are logged. For the Warrington West Community Action Team: Tel: 0845 458 6385 email: warrington.west.cat@cheshire.pnn.police.uk
Like most things these days the police are limited by the resources they have and often have to allocate their resources according to the number of reported incidents. Therefore if they don't know about it, they can't do anything about it. So don't just assume that someone else will report the problem, do it yourself. Notifying the police of an incident can be daunting, or may seem like a chore, but you can make a difference. The sooner the police can act, the less likely the problem is to escalate. Even if a single incident isn't acted upon immediately, knowing where the problems are allows the police to build up a picture of "hotspots" and target these areas accordingly.
