Hughenden Valley (formerly called Hughenden or Hitchendon) is an extensive village in Buckinghamshire, England, just to the north of High Wycombe. It is almost 8,000 acres (32 km²) in size, divided mainly between arable and wooded land. Today the village is in a very beautiful part of the Chiltern Hills and the manor with its extensive gardens is open to the public. It is a very popular place to live for executives traveling into London. Hughenden Parish Council covers a wide area that includes eight villages (or parts of villages). These are: - Bryants Bottom, Cryers Hill, Great Kingshill, Hughenden Valley, Naphill, North Dean, Walters Ash and Widmer End. This community has its own website through which you can find out about local information and how your local council is working for you.
