SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL(PARISH OF KESSINGLAND)(VARIOUS ROADS)(RESTRICTED ROAD,40MPH SPEED LIMIT, 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT, DERESTRICTION AND REVOCATION) ORDER 200- Statement of Reasons. Suffolk County Council is proposing to introduce a 20mph speed limit along the B1437 Church Road, between the car park and Beach Road. This road is used by pedestrians to gain access to the beach and other amenities. In addition Suffolk County Council is proposing to extend the existing 30mph speed limit along London Road to cover the built up area of the village identified by the terraced properties extending beyond the existing 30mph speed limit. At the same time a new 40mph speed limit is proposed between the start of the proposed new 30mph speed limit and the A12 northern roundabout to remove a small section of national speed limit overlooked when the 40mph speed limit was introduced on the A12
