2003/137 To Approve Minutes of 19-11-2003

The Chairman having circulated the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting. Held on Wednesday 19 November 2003; Cllr. Hudson proposed and Cllr Crowther seconded that they be accepted as a true record and this was agreed by all present.

2003/138 To deal with matters, if any, remaining from the previous meetings.

2003/128 - Budget - Project List - Cllr. Rodger informed the meeting that she had obtained a second quotation for the building of stone trough from Duffins of Stonesby, for the sum of £ 1360.00. This quotation was £ 208.00 more expensive than the quotation received from J. Trigg of 46 Main Street. Cllr. Rodger had been informed by Highways, that any construction should not be wider than the "Market Overton" road sign.

2003/139 To receive Correspondence

There were several items of correspondence to circulate notices for meetings-

• RCC - Notice of Making an Order - for the diversion of Bridleway E105 and El06 - (Order made 26th November 2003 expiring noon 5th January 2004)
• RCC Register of Electors request form
• International Tree Foundation was waiting for the Parish Council to submit a tree planting scheme, to take place probably November 2004.
• RCC - Licensing Act questionaire
• Baker Associates Housing Study request
• LRAPLC intend to move quarters, Rural Community Council requesting support.
• LRAPLC - Branch Meeting - Catmose, Oakham 11 December 2003
• Rotary Club of Rutland - Blue Bell Walk Appeal for village halls.

2003/140 To authorise payments of accounts/S137 and note balances.

Cllr. Rodger proposed and Cllr. Dean seconded that the following be authorised for payment-

MOPCC - Room Hire - Oct-Nov-Dec - £15.00
MO Village Hall - Parish Plan Meeting - £13.00

The Chairman circulated the Monthly Statement of Accounts. Members noted that the balance of £4971.44 would be reduced by £28.00 after tonights cheques are presented, leaving a balance of £4943.44.

2003/141 To receive Planning Applications

Members agreed to support the following applications -

LBA/2003/1136/9/AH - *Market Overton House, 38 Main Street - internal Staircase.
*Cllr. Dean declared an interest

The Chairman informed members that the following had received permission-
CAT/2003/1062 MT - The Old Rectory - removal of limb - 1 Poplar Tree
LBA/2003/0850/9/AH - The Old Hall - barn conversion
FUL/2003/0908/AH - The Wharf- construction of horse walker
