THE OTTERHEAD STEERING GROUP

The Group, set up several years ago, is concerned with various aspects of the Otterhead Estate, including sections leased by the Otterhead Estate Trust Co. Ltd. and by Forest Enterprise, as well as the Lakes and other land retained by Wessex Water.

Membership consists of Officers of Wessex Water, Forest Enterprise, Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Somerset County Council and Taunton Deane Borough Council; Directors of the Otterhead Estate Trust Co. Ltd. and representatives of Churchstanton Parish Council, Otterford Parish Council, Somerset Gardens Trust and Somerset Wildlife Trust.

Current policy is to select items that have been discussed, of general topical interest and also those specifically referring to this website, for inclusion in the Minutes section of this website. 

The next meeting is due to be held in December and any relevant matters sent to this website will be brought to the attention of members of the Steering Group as soon as possible and also at that meeting.
