Housed within three charming mid 17th century cottages built of stone with a partly thatched roof. The Chandos Arms has all the qualities of the traditional English village pub and is very much part of village life. Here you can enjoy a game of darts or dominoes and, in the summer months, join in a game of Aunt Sally. It is off the main road in a quiet location of the village. Stephen & Michelle offer you a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. Quality, freshly prepared home-cooked food, using only the freshest locally sourced produce and prepared to the highest standards by Award winning Chef Stephen. The roast Sunday lunches are very popular (booking is recommended), as are the steaks, Fish and other interesting dishes. They offer a fine selection of cask real ales, Restaurant & Beer arden + Families Welcome. The Chandos was the winner of the Aylesbury Vale Pub in Bloom 2000 and runners up in 2001, also voted 3rd place in the Aylesbury Vale Village Pub of the Year 2001.
