MINUTES OF THE COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON

th September: Having been circulated they were confirmed as a true record and signed by the Chairperson.
2. Matters Arising
: a. Village Hall Car Park:
The new plans have been forwarded to Uttlesford Planning Department.
Bus Shelter B1383:
The repair of the Bus Shelter has now been completed, and it only remains to fix the Litter Bin.
C.Verge Patmore End adj M11 Bridge:
We are still waiting for the post?s to be installed, but the problem with parked caravans has not reoccurred.
d.Grant to Village Hall £4750.00 ( see also finance) )
The Councillors were informed of the change in Barclays Bank transferring the Postal account to a
Business Bonus Account, causing a delay in the transfer. The money was
forwarded by Cheque to the Treasurer David Hilton for the Village Hall at the
meeting.
e.E.C.C Quiet Lanes:
It was reported to the meeting by those who attended the open day at the village Hall, that it was very difficult to see the practicability of
operating this system. It was felt that very few drivers would observe the signs.

UTT/1710/05FUL.UTT/1711/05/LB Chesnut Cottage, Dellows Lane. Half Story
rear extension & Car Port, new vehicle entrance, internal re-fabs. The Parish
council were very concerned that building work had started without planning
permission. Geoffrey Sell will ask for planning permission to go to the
Committee, as members had reservations over the plans as shown.

n.Roger Pryor informed the meeting that an enforcement meeting had been served
For the Paint Ball Game .An appeal has been lodged.
o. Roger Pryor asked if a letter could be sent re the condition of the B1383
Opposite Orford House following the road works, the surface of the road has
appeared to have risen.
p. David Hilton asked if consideration could be given to appointing a new trustee
for the Village Hall. David Cross informed the meeting that this was raised at
the last Village Hall Meeting and it had been agreed that Sue Elmes would
contact Jonathan Ruffer asking him to make arrangements to appoint a new
Trustee.
Q. Jean Reay asked if Roger Pryor could supply the Christmas tree for the village
Green. This has been arranged for early December.
