"Sylvia (Beaumont) and I presented the bus petition to CCC yesterday (8th December) and I was permitted to put forward our case at the Council meeting. We will have to wait to see what the outcome is.
 
A team of 9 'willing volunteers' collected 203 signatures supporting the petition for an improved bus service between Rampton and Cambridge. This represents 72% of all households in the village. A splendid result. Cllrs  David Jenkins and Sue Gymer, CCC, are backing the petition, as are our own councillors.As soon as I have any further news I will let people know."
